We Have Eggs For Sale! We keep a variety of chickens for our eggs.  They lay white and brown eggs.  We have about 40 hens and 1 rooster right now.They are cage-free and some of the hens like to escape and wonder the farm.  Chickens are great for insect control, they have really cut down on spiders and flies around here.  We don't feed any hormones or antibotics. We recently hatched out our first chicks and have 9 in the brooder.  That was an exciting experience for us and the kids really enjoyed it, too!  Did you know that the chicks peep while still in the shell?  We learn something new all the time around here.
